Looking to secure a solid finance contract while you’re living and working in Sydney?

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established international business in a hands-on Assistant Accountant role where you’ll gain real exposure across a busy finance function.

You won’t be stuck doing just one task. While bank reconciliations will form a key part of your day, you’ll also be reviewing expenses, investigating discrepancies, resolving queries, assisting with financial reports and supporting the broader accounting team with month-end and daily finance activities.

If you enjoy working through numbers until everything balances, picking up on details others might miss, and being part of a collaborative team environment, this role will suit you well.

We’re looking for:

• Accounting or finance qualification (completed or near completion)
• Experience in AP, AR, bookkeeping or assistant accountant roles
• Strong Excel skills
• A detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset
• Availability for a 4–6 month contract

The details:

• 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Mascot location
• Contract through to June 2026
• Salary circa $75,000 pro rata
