Accounts Receivable / Payment Reconciliation Temp

We are looking for a confident Accounts Receivable / Payment Reconciliation temp to start ASAP.

This is an onsite role, close to Helensvale train station and near Westfield Helensvale, so it is handy if you are using public transport.

The assignment is for 8 weeks, with the possibility of more work.

You will be joining a friendly team and helping them sort through payment reconciliations, bank feeds, debtor accounts and data clean-up. This is a great role if you like keeping your brain busy, solving problems and feeling like you are actually making a difference at work.

The work will include:
• Reconciling bank feeds and payment data in Xero
• Working through payments from systems like Shopify and Stripe
• Investigating missing, failed or incorrectly allocated payments
• Matching payments across reports, accounts and clearing accounts
• Cleaning up data issues and fixing reporting errors
• Reviewing debtor accounts where needed
• Making some follow-up calls on outstanding invoices

You must have:
• Strong Xero experience
• Good Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
• At least 2 years’ experience in accounts receivable, payment reconciliation, transactional accounting or debt collection
• Clear verbal English and confidence making phone calls when needed
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work through messy information

This is not a basic data entry role. It will suit someone who enjoys reconciliation work, problem-solving and getting stuck into the detail.
